The Nurturing Network understands that each employer Member of our Network strives to maintain and promote the quality of its business performance and reputation. Therefore, we do not expect any employer to compromise its hiring standards in order to employ a Client of the Network.
- We ask that each employer appoint one administrative contact to act as liaison with The Nurturing Network. This contact person would ideally have experience in the area of personnel as well as a sound knowledge of the workings of your organization.
- Because the financial needs of a Client may be alleviated by the support available through the Network, certain Clients may be willing to accept a reduced salary in exchange for the opportunity to continue their career at this time. Some women may be on a paid leave of absence from their previous employer while others may be living at no expense with a Nurturing Family. We encourage you to discuss this openly with our Client to reach an agreement that is beneficial and fair to both of you.
- The Nurturing Network respects the confidentiality of the professional employer-employee relationship that you will form with our Client. Generally, following the initial introduction process, the Network need not be involved as an intermediary However, if we can be of any assistance to you as a Member of our Network, please do not hesitate to contact our Manager of Employer Resources.
- As our Clients benefit from the various services of the Network, it is vital that they sense the same commitment and understanding from each Network member. We hope you will use every opportunity to let our Client know that you respect and support the choice she has made to give life to her child. At this time in her life when she may be especially vulnerable, reassurance is needed and very much appreciated.
- While some Clients will be more concerned than others, we have assured all Clients that each Member of our Network will protect the confidentiality of her circumstances. We ask your on-going assistance in fulfilling this commitment to our Clients.
- It is the commitment and willingness of our Members that will enable us to serve our Clients. The more extensive our membership, the more women for whom we can provide the practical support and understanding they may need at this time in their lives. If you know of a quality employer who might be interested in joining our Network, please encourage this person to contact our Manager of Employer Resources about becoming a Member, or contact us on their behalf and we will be happy to send our information directly to the person you recommend.
- Above all, on behalf of our Clients, please know how much your kindness is appreciated. The support and services which you have generously offered are a most precious gift. You can be assured of this person’s gratitude for a lifetime.
